The project was implemented specifically for the release of the Death Stranding game by KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS.

KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS is a Japanese computer game development studio led by Hideo Kojima, a former division of Konami. Based in Tokyo, Japan, it is an independent studio headed by renowned game creator and visionary Hideo Kojima.
